Fallbrook Youth Soccer

RECREATIONAL INFORMATION

Approximately 80% of FYSL players participate in the recreational program. To provide a balanced team concept, teams are formed using a rating system based on each player’s abilities, followed by a blind draft. Recreational coaches are volunteers, largely parents, who have stepped up to contribute to the success of the league. Volunteer coaches are supported with training guides and resources that focus on providing an environment of wholesome, competitive fun while developing good character, sportsmanship, and teamwork as players develop their skills and learn the rules of the game.

“Before kids can play like a pro, they must enjoy playing the game like a kid.”
