• Any adult 18 and older who completes the requirements can volunteer to coach.

• You don't need to experience as a soccer player, we will provide training to volunteer coaches. 

• You don’t need to have a child register in the league.

• High school students who are looking for community service hours and letters of recommendation can volunteer and coach too. An adult in the team will assist with administrative business of the team.

Volunteer coaches need to complete the following:

1. Fill Out an administration form provided by the FYSL  board.

2. Do a Live Scan (paid by FYSL)

3. Complete the following online trainings:

   • https://calsouth.com/health-and-safety/

   • Concussion & Head Injury

   • Sudden Cardiac Arrest

   • SafeSport Training

4. Plus the Grassroots coaching license: https://calsouth.com/us/coaches/
